Sole Cicchelli, in arte MeelkieWee, è unə artista che si occupa di illustrazione, fumetto e animazione. Si è formatə presso la Scuola Mohole di Milano e, ad oggi, opera principalmente tra Lombardia e Piemonte.Ama realizzare opere digitali dallo stile vivace e spontaneo dove i soggetti sono riassunti con forme e colori semplici ma ricchi di espressività e texture. Grandi ispirazioni per i suoi lavori sono la tradizione cinese e varie opere di finzione.Ha debuttato nell'ambito delle fiere del fumetto Italiane nel 2022 ed è tutt'ora attivə nell'ambiente.Al di fuori del contesto Italiano, ha contribuito a diverse fanzine, ultima tra le quali è "JJBA Legacy Zine", una raccolta di opere multiautoriali dedicata all'esplorazione dell'eredità attraverso i personaggi della serie a fumetti "Le Bizzarre Avventure di JoJo".Attualmente sta lavorando ad un progetto originale che segue la storia di Illei, un unicorno lunare alla ricerca della propria identità al di là dei legami interpersonali.

Sole Cicchelli, aka MeelkieWee, is an Italian artist specializing in illustration, comics, and animation. They studied at Scuola Mohole in Milan and they are currently residing in North Italy.They love creating digital works with a lively and spontaneous style, capturing subjects with simple shapes and colors that are rich in expressiveness and texture. Their artistic taste draws inspiration from Chinese tradition and various works of fiction.They debuted in Italian comic conventions in 2022 and is still active in the field.Outside Italy, they have contributed to several fanzines, the latest being "JJBA Legacy Zine," a collection of multi-authored works exploring legacy through the characters of the manga series "JoJo's Bizarre Adventures."They are currently working on an original project that follows the story of Illei, a lunar unicorn searching for her identity beyond interpersonal bonds.
